The lifestyle of Trinity County is definitely rural. Trinity County offers larger communities
with identifiable neighborhoods or smaller communities that center around a local country store,
whose homes are scattered throughout the hills.
The U.S. Forest Service is the largest employer. Many artisans live in Trinity County producing
a wide variety of arts and crafts for retail and wholesale markets. Another industry the County is
known for is organic herb farming of medicinal, culinary and floral herbs.
Outdoor leisure includes cycling, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, gold panning, rafting,
snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing.
