Candidates must submit
a Merit System Services Application Form (IMS-9). Candidates with internet
access are encouraged to apply on line. Log onto www.mss.ca.gov
and apply as instructed. Candidates who meet the minimum qualifications
and are successful in other requisite examinations (a written test is required for the
Social Worker I), will be invited to an Oral Examination. The Oral Examination is held
in the County with the vacancy.
If you are successful in the examination process, your name will be placed on an eligible list and
